Relationships are the essence of who we are and your very existence was the result of that.
Your development in the womb forged a relationship with your Mother and once you emerged it continued to develop along with that of your father, grandparents and extended family.
Infancy provided a relationship that was full of exploration; discovering your body’s movement, talking, crawling and walking. Life continued to engage you with new interactions and many new things to learn along the way.
Going to school and eventually work exposed you to new relationships but what about the relationship of your mind and spirit? Are you constantly cultivating the relationship between your body, mind and spirit? How’s your relationship with your goals and money?
All of these need nurturing too.
Life is full of relationships that do not involve people.
Any true interaction is a type of relationship and the success of it depends on you.
The best relationships are able to survive the tumultuous times and last the longest.
Take a look at your best relationships, review them based on how well they survive adversity and how each of you worked on resolving any issues.
Encourage and nurture your relationships and see how much better they can be.
Just remember; it’s not always what we experience but how we respond.
It’s All Up To You!
