SEEING BEYOND

SEEING BEYOND

We are born with a level of sight that surpasses our eyes.

Our senses extrapolate intel to our brain that we can discern with pinpoint accuracy.

Blind people maneuver by heightening their remaining senses to compensate.

If you close your eyes; what can you differentiate from your surroundings?

It’s great practice to amplify your senses; one by one. Try one this week and see how well you move through life.

Sometimes we think we have to lose something to gain something; but that is not always the correct perception. If you have apples on the table and make apple pie; don’t you still have apples?

Creating an altered state can produce answers to questions not even related to the immediate subject.

Here’s To Thinking Beyond The Box!

MAKE MISTAKES NOT EXCUSES

MAKE MISTAKES NOT EXCUSES

Allowing doubt and fear to resonate within you, keeps you at the starting gate.

Focusing on the doubt and fear might even make you turn around and head back to the stables.

You’ll never know victory if you don’t take at least one step. Let’s not even think about the second step until that first one is firmly planted.

This is quite an accomplishment because you made a move; so let’s build on that and enjoy this duplicatable feeling.

Now you can easily muster up the fortitude to make that second step without any hoopla from the naysayers.

The third step is now even easier and provides real traction, momentum and a “can do” attitude.

There will be times when a stumble and/or fall occur but shift your focus to knowing that you’ve done successful things before.

Get up, dust yourself off, note the mishap and just keep going.

You got this, you always have and you’ll succeed many more times; so let’s focus on that.

You’re a winner so let’s make a conscious decision to be that.

KEEP ON WINNING!

EMPATHY

EMPATHY

We’re all dealing with something.

Just because you don’t see the dilemma doesn’t mean someone isn’t going through it.

We’ve all learned to hide what we don’t want the world to see. Some of us just hide it better than others.

Knives are struck with a hammer repeatedly to strengthen them and adversity serves the same function in our lives.

The more extreme the circumstances the greater the lesson learned.

Our recovery from them provides a vital ingredient that’s derived by the degree of difficulty.

Most of them are intricately entwined and together become the steps to your elevation.

Nothing will ever be presented that you can’t win; some just require a bit more.

PEEL AWAY THE LAYERS

PEEL AWAY THE LAYERS

I’ve been alive for quite a while and lived in the Northeast, South, Midwest and West.

Over time I’ve noticed how people and places have changed. I realize that change is an inevitable consequence of life.

Many of the changes eroded our self-sufficiency and automatic thinking.

I often wonder what life would be like now without all of the creature comforts that we’ve become used to.

Whether it’s communication, entertainment, education, food or a host of other things that were very different in the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s; how would your life be different?

Could you survive growing all of your own food?

Cooking all of your meals from scratch?

Using a phone that’s attached to a wall that only allows you to talk through it?

No video games or computers and having to go outside to play and being in the house before the street lights came on.

I know I’m sounding nostalgic but your mental engagement is essential. Relinquishing any part of you is detrimental to your progress.

Even baby steps are better than being trampled on.

Our precious commodity of time is irreplaceable and should be treated as such.

Today is one of a kind; make the most of it, whatever that means to you.

Trust me; tomorrow will be different.

Stay Blessed!
