VISION
Have you ever been caught in a torrential downpour from a hurricane that made landfall?
It’s raining so hard that even with your vehicle windshield wipers on their fastest setting the rain still obscures your view.
Do you slowly drive forward being guided by the white or yellow road lines or pull over and wait it out?
Occasionally, we have our own downpours in life. It just seems like one thing after another and you can’t see your way clear.
We don’t always have to pull over and wait for the storm to pass.
Look to the left or to the right; there something there, maybe some of the road is revealed. It may be faint but it’s there.
There’s no shame in reducing your speed and/or revamping your plans and calling ahead to let everyone know you’re going to be delayed.
Slow forward motion is better than no movement at all. It means that you’re still in the flow and anything can happen to get you back up to speed; sometimes a great gust will come along and propel you even further ahead than you could possibly imagine based on your own calculations.
Eventually, momentum will move you past the turbulence and into the sunshine. You know the one that’s hiding just beyond the rain and clouds.
Maintain your level of expectation or something even better and be patient; it’s just a matter of time.
Remember either this too shall pass or you’ll move past the issue.
Or as my Uncle says, “If you never had a bad day you wouldn’t know how to appreciate a good one”.
Don’t be afraid to slow down, your perspective will change right around that upcoming curve; so stay the course!
Stay Blessed!
