When there is so much to do you can feel overwhelmed and consumed by it all.
Overwhelm and consumption are clear signs that you are no longer in the flow.
You are no longer traveling down the river, not in the boat, on dry land, in the forest and aimlessly staggering around trying to make sense of it all.
Taking a much needed break will allow you to resume refreshed and that will provide new insight.
It is these times when it’s best to stop, take several deep breaths, get up, stretch, drink some water and go for a walk. All of these tasks serve a purpose in clearing and refreshing your mind, body and spirit.
It is then that so much more can be accomplished. Your normal plowing through will take more time than if you had taken the break.
Stay aware of YOU in every moment. You’ve got no time to waste.
