I’ve spent a good portion of my adult life battling “Road Rage”.

If you commute, you understand the term ever so intimately.

After personally winning the battle; my beloved husband has also enjoyed using numerous tools to calm his nerves.

There would be times he’d come home so steaming mad you could fry an egg on his head. That was until he realized that divine intervention was always bringing him back to me safely.

I suggested he not worry about how soon he got home but concentrated more on his journey, getting home safely and making his commute a more pleasurable experience.

Something as simple as getting a beverage and a snack would make him less anxious and gently divert his attention. Then there would be a spur of the moment meeting that would significantly alter his departure time.

That ceased being an issue when one day he checked the traffic report and realized that had he left when he intended; he would have been involved in a major multicar pile up.

I believe everything happens for a reason and I am continually grateful for this knowledge.

Segmenting is one of the best ways to maintain control throughout the day. You can stay in control of uncontrollable situations by setting your intentions with sub tasks.

Having a routine in place also creates a peaceful environment and a pleasant commute.

Doing a meditation for several minutes allows you to decompress and lays the foundation for your trip. Selecting an audio book or some music before leaving the parking lot creates a great atmosphere.

It’s not always what happens to you but how you react.

Enjoy Your Divine Intervention!

Stay Blessed!
