What’s it worth to you?

This is a familiar saying with further reaching implications. There are a lot of things in life that make you wonder about the repercussions.

Does it keep you from doing it? Probably not, then why deprive yourself of the experience?

Is it something you’ll flourish from or set you on a new path?

Even the most precarious situations have a value that far reaches past the depths of our emotional currency; or maybe even beyond what we want to spend.

Is what you’re doing worth the consequences of your actions or will it come back to bite you on the butt?

Will a karmic lesson be learned? No matter what the initial intrinsic value; there is an obvious positive fragment that can be derived from the event.

Look for it, live for it and learn from it. If you have to go through it, at least grow from it. You owe it to yourself; it’s all part of the journey.

There are no shortcuts and yes, that diner is a chain so they all look alike; you’re not really going in circles.
